Product Overview

EPC9505 is a 125°C irradiation cross-linked halogen-free insulation compound developed as the external insulation layer for long-life building wires and cables rated 750V and below. It is designed to meet the 125°C external insulation material requirements of JG/T 411, combining electron-beam cross-linking with low smoke zero halogen and flame-retardant performance.

As a 125°C LSZH building wire compound, EPC9505 is suitable for the external insulation layer of 750V long-life building cables where flame retardancy, zero-halogen performance and stable mechanical properties after irradiation are required. Its irradiated XLPO structure makes it applicable to halogen-free building wire, low-smoke flame-retardant cable and long-life cross-linked polyolefin insulation constructions.

EPC9505 can be processed on conventional PVC/PE extrusion equipment. A low-compression-ratio screw specifically suitable for LSZH compounds is recommended. Electron-beam irradiation is applied after extrusion to complete cross-linking.

Adjust the extrusion conditions according to cable structure, equipment configuration, screw design and actual melt condition.

For special extrusion equipment, long-life building wire structures or irradiation conditions, please contact our technical team for processing guidance.

Final processing parameters should be confirmed through production trials under the customer's actual extrusion conditions.
