EPC9052 can be processed on conventional PVC/PE cable extrusion equipment. After extrusion, electron-beam irradiation is applied to obtain the required cross-linked structure for marine cable evaluation.
Keep the melt temperature below 165°C and do not exceed 175°C during extrusion.
A low-compression screw and head are recommended, with a compression ratio of approximately 1:1–1:2.
