Product Overview

EPC9501 is a 150°C Crosslinkable LSZH Cable Compound developed for wire and cable insulation requiring high continuous heat resistance. Designed for GB/T 32129-2015 WDZ-YJ-J150 applications, it combines low smoke, zero halogen and flame-retardant performance for 150°C cable constructions.

 

The material is crosslinked by electron-beam irradiation after extrusion. EPC9501 can also be described as a 150°C XLPO Cable Compound, 150°C HFFR Cable Compound, 150°C Halogen Free Cable Compound and Irradiation Crosslinkable High Temperature Compound. The recommended irradiation dose is 10–12 MRad.

EPC9501 can be extruded on conventional PVC/PE cable extrusion equipment. Electron-beam irradiation is applied after extrusion to obtain the required high-temperature cross-linked structure.
Keep the melt temperature below 165°C and do not exceed 175°C during extrusion.
A low-compression screw and head are recommended, with a compression ratio of approximately 1:1–1:2.
For special high-temperature cable designs, extrusion equipment or irradiation conditions, please contact our technical team for processing and cross-linking guidance.
