GH should be processed on PE extrusion equipment. The following temperature profile is recommended as a starting point for cable sheathing extrusion.
Adjust the extrusion conditions according to cable structure, equipment configuration, screw design and actual melt condition.
For special extrusion equipment or cable jacket structures, please contact our technical team for processing guidance.
Final processing parameters should be confirmed through production trials under the customer's actual extrusion conditions.

FAQ
1. What is Black HDPE Cable Sheathing Compound-GH?
GH is a black high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheathing compound for cable outer jackets and meets the black HDPE cable sheathing material requirements of GB/T 15065-2009.
2. Which standard does GH meet?
GH meets GB/T 15065-2009 requirements for black high-density polyethylene cable sheathing material.
3. Is GH an insulation or sheathing compound?
GH is a cable sheathing / outer jacket compound rather than an insulation compound.
4. What is the difference between GH and LDH?
GH is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheath grade with a density of 0.955 g/cm³, while LDH is a linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) sheath grade with a density of 0.935 g/cm³. Their mechanical profiles also differ, so selection should follow the required cable construction.
5. What mechanical properties does GH provide?
The supplied technical data lists 29.7 MPa tensile strength and 65% elongation at break.
6. What environmental stress cracking performance is reported?
The environmental stress cracking resistance F0 is greater than 500 hours.
7. What carbon black performance is specified?
The supplied data lists 2.55% carbon black content and Grade 1 carbon black dispersion.
8. What is the recommended extrusion temperature profile?
Zone 1: 150°C; Zone 2: 170°C; Zone 3: 185°C; Zone 4: 195°C; Zone 5: 200°C; Neck: 200°C; Head: 200°C; Mould: 200°C.
9. Does GH require irradiation or chemical cross-linking?
No. GH is a thermoplastic HDPE cable sheathing compound designed for PE extrusion.
10. Can customized formulations and samples be provided?
Yes. Formulation support, technical guidance and samples can be discussed according to the customer's cable sheathing application.
