Excellent chemical corrosion resistance: PE is resistant to acids, alkalis, and salt solutions at room temperature and is insoluble in most organic solvents, making it an ideal material for manufacturing chemical containers and piping.
Good electrical insulation properties: PE features high volume resistivity and low dielectric loss; as an excellent insulating material, it is widely used for wire and cable sheathing.
Good low-temperature performance: PE has a low embrittlement temperature and can be used at temperatures below -60°C, offering cold resistance far superior to that of most plastics.
Non-toxic and hygienic: PE is non-toxic and odorless, complies with food-contact standards, and is extensively used in food packaging and containers.
Good processing characteristics: PE exhibits excellent melt flow properties and is easy to process and mold using various techniques, such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and rotational molding.
